Rahul Gandhi gets his beard trimmed at local barbershop in Raebareli

Amid Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi on Monday got his beard trimmed at a local barbershop in Raebareli, UP.

The Congress leader is campaigning in Raebareli, from where he is contesting Lok Sabha elections 2024.

He has also filed his nomination from Wayanad, his current Lok Sabha seat. 

Photos of Rahul getting his beard trimmed at the local barbershop have gone viral on social media.

Netizens are praising him for his simplicity and humbleness.

Congress has also shared his pictures on X, saying 'Election preparations are complete, but haircutting is also necessary.'

Rahul addressed a rally in Rae Bareli parliamentary constituency on May 13 for the first time after his nomination.

Considered a Gandhi family bastion, the Rae Bareli seat had been represented by senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi since 2004.

Raebareli will vote in the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 on May 20.
